Games4Health is an annual $60K competition for student innovations that drive healthier lives through games that people love. With 2015 participation from 95 students, 10 universities and 4 countries, the Sorenson Center for Discovery & Innovation, Center for Medical Innovation and Engineering Arts and Entertainment are excited to begin the 2016 competition season. The 2016 registration is open, and all students across the University of Utah are invited to register and participate in this entrepreneurial opportunity.
Health and gaming are converging to enable healthier lives through games that people love. From wellness programs in large companies to adolescents that play video games as much as they are in school, games have the potential to increase the health and quality of life for millions of people.
